What Is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)?

This condition is characterized by a constant state of Excessive Tiredness and/or fatigue for at least 6 months that is not caused by any other known origin. CFS is usually accompanied with some sort of cognitive impairment that manifests as lack of concentration or short term memory loss. CFS can decrease a person’s quality of life almost as much as some major diseases like heart attacks, cancer and depression. Being tired all the time makes it more difficult to accomplish normal, every day tasks. Now that you know what Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is, let’s look into what may be causing your Excessive Tiredness.

Cause Of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

There are many activities or situations that may cause you to feel very tired, for example strenuous exercise, sitting in a class with the boring teacher, or just a long stressful day. Keep in mind that in order to be diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, there can be no known related cause. Scientists and researchers have been trying to pin an exact cause of CFS but have yet to do so. Nobody knows exactly why people with this condition  have it or what exactly causes it.

4 Reasons Why You May Have Excessive Tiredness

1. Dehydration – People who chronically feel very tired may be a result of dehydration. Water keeps our bodies performing at it’s best and when we don’t have enough the result is lack of energy.

2. Malnutrition – If you’re fasting, on a diet, or simply don’t eat enough then this could explain why you’re feeling tired. Try to eat some more food throughout the day focusing on the most important meal of the day, breakfast.

3. Sleeping problems – Insomnia, narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome are just a few sleep disorders that can hurt you energy levels throughout the day. Find the best sleeping conditions and habits so you can get a restful night’s sleep to feel energized the next day.

4. Stress – Stress can make you become exhausted both physically and mentally. The best thing to do here is to try and think of ways to control and minimize your stress which will lead to a healthier life. Try some relaxation techniques, meditation or even yoga to ease your mind. You will truly be amazing at how much decreasing stress can change your life.

Now that you know what may be the root of you being very tired all the time you can take the necessary steps to sleeping better.  You will no longer have to ask yourself Why Am I So Tired and be able to sleep peacefully.
